I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, and poet based in Queens, NY.
The themes I’m drawn toward in my work are vulnerability, interpersonal relationships, and the intersections of poetry and visual art. I’m a natural declutterer, and I’m passionate about making earnest, expressive work. Before coming to MICA, I worked in Mumbai as a graphic designer, illustrator, and occasionally as a copy-writer for a little over five years. Simultaneously, I was deeply involved in the local poetry community—extensively workshopping, performing live, and collaborating with musicians. My approaches to poetry and visual art are twin-like.
